2021 Montana Day 06 Birthday

Today is Elee’s birthday and we have breakfast and head out to see something she spotted online. A Suspension Bridge and waterfalls an hour and a half west of our location in Whitefish, Montana. A place called Kootenai, Montana.

The bridge spanned the Kootenai River and was wobbly to cross, in a fun way! Then we hiked a trail along the river to find some small waterfalls to walk around.

It’s a fun day exploring the area. Our cameras are thrilled with us for taking them along!

We drive back in the direction of Whitefish and find a restaurant to stop at for lunch in the small town of Libby. We actually come across more fall color than just yellow Aspen trees!

We get back to Whitefish and retire for the evening and pack up in anticipation of traveling early in the morning, even before the Lodge serves breakfast!
